I thought it would be a great idea to tell you about how I work and what it will be like to work with me.
Stephanie Stevens Jewellery is run in mind with the motto ‘treat others how you would like to be treated’. I do everything with the understanding of how I would like it to be. Also what helps is that as I am the sole owner of the business, so you will only ever hear from me and I will make sure I will do anything I can to help you.
I like to work in a personal way that helps each customer be part of the making journey with me.
I believe that jewellery isn't just an item that is kept in a jewellery box, I believe jewellery should be made with a personal background. Especially as we are talking about wedding rings, these are one of the most important items of jewellery you will ever wear.
Not only are the rings important but the design and making is also very important. I work with each customer to help design a ring that is perfect for them and while I work I like for you to spend the making journey with me by updating you with photos along the way.
‘This photo is of a ring that was commissioned to sit in-between an engagement and eternity ring.’
These are the sort of photos you will receive with me working at my desk like you are there with me.
I make all my jewellery from my St.Ives workshop which is lovely because I have my own space but for meeting my customers I am able to meet in a relaxed atmosphere whether it’s meeting at a cafe or over Skype.
Each individual ring is completely bespoke so we have a long chat over coffee about what styles, textures and characteristics you would like to be incorporated into the ring.
Once we have started to get to know each other we start to piece together the ring that suits your personality.
Another thing that we may discuss is whether you would like any stones in your design. This is where we can look through the different settings that will suit you and be good for your style and lifestyle.
You may also need a ring to fit alongside your engagement ring. We can discuss the design of how you would like it to fit alongside and make them look like they were made to match.
Are you a person that doesn't wear jewellery so would like a ring that would be comfortable and subtle? That’s no problem, there are different styles that will help the ring feel comfortable on your hand but we can also add a texture to help make the ring subtle which will help you with the idea of a ring.
‘The ring with the curve and diamonds set in was a match that we designed around an engagement ring. The mans hammered and brushed ring is made in an easy-fit style to make it a subtle and comfortable ring.'
The bespoke process
With the personal nature of this process it’s also important for you to get to know me. If you would like to know a bit more before meeting me please check out my about page.
