Venue is a big obvious one that is needed to be sorted out first. Whether its a hotel or marquee wedding you will fall in love with the one thats for you when you see it. The more you look around the better idea you can get with what is perfect and suits your personalities. With the venue being the first to sort, you can then secure the date and that is when you can start booking the rest.
Food, well we all know everyone is happy with a belly full of delicious food. Depending whether you will be having food supplied through the hotel or if you will be organising caterers, make sure you have some taste testers. Visit the hotel for a meal or even ask the caterers to supply you with a small menu of things you might like and ask to have some tasters. Although you might want to keep everyone else happy, make sure you pick your favourite, its your day and to top your special day you can enjoy your favourite food.
Photography I think is another really important part of your wedding, you want to be able to look back on the photos and feel the emotion, excitement and feelings you felt on that day. You want to be able to be proud of your photos as you will no doubt have them up in your house and I know your aunties, uncles, parents and grandparents will definitely also have them up in their houses. These are the photos that are going to carry your memories with you. With photographers there are so many amazing ones for you to chose from. I would suggest that you have a look through their portfolio’s, get to know their style and make sure they resonate with you. Even message them, call them or visit a wedding fair they will be attending to get to know them, make sure they meet your expectations, they are also a big part of your day, they will be spending it with you so you want to make sure they are going to fit in and be like one of the family.
I may be biased but wedding rings are definitely one of the most important ones, they represent your love, your commitment and your marriage. Everything else is so important to make sure its right for the day but your rings are with you forever. You are going to be wearing them for the rest of your life so its really important to make sure they are made with quality, comfort and personal design.
Music is also really important because if you think about it, thats what will be entertaining you for half of your day maybe even your full day if you have music during the service and reception. Picking music can be hard but the best thing to do is do the same you would with a photographer. Check out their website, listen to their music, even visit a fair or gig they will be attending. Get to know them and make sure they fit in with your style and theme.
Weddings can be stressful, but by finding and choosing the best suppliers for you, they will make sure everything goes smoothly and will be excited with you leading up to the day and on your special day.
Happy Planning, :-)
I hope this has helped you know where to start and also given you an insight to search for your perfect suppliers so they will make your day extra special.
