Are you looking to buy some local cornish made presents this year for christmas? Here's a couple of local businesses that draw their inspirations from Cornwall.
Katie Simpson Cornwall
Katie hand makes and hand paints her Cornish homewares in her house in St.Ives. She is inspired by the sculptural coastlines and the turquoise blues that is all around her living in beautiful cornwall. Ranging from paintings, cushions, lamp shades, place mats, tea towels and jugs. They are a great gift for someone who loves cornwall and the beautiful blue colours.
This Christmas Katie has been focusing on handmade baubles, handprinted and personalised for perfect gifts.
If you fancy joining her in painting your own bauble whether it’s for yourself or to give as a gift join Katie on the 6th December at Una Kitchen. This is a perfect craft day to take the children and get them into the Christmas spirit.
Jennifer Armitage Illustration
Jennifer has lived in Cornwall all her life and is inspired by her surroundings of the natural beauty of Cornish Places, wildlife, flora and fauna. Jen loves to create abstract and bold illustrations to celebrate some of Cornwall’s most iconic places and majestic scenes.
Jen’s illustrations make a beautiful Cornish Gift for a friend or loved one, or look lovely as a splash of Cornish colour in any home or office.

Natalie Bonney Ceramic Design
Natalie is a full time studio potter living in Falmouth, making hand thrown stoneware ceramics. If you are anything like me when you see her stalls you just want to buy everything. The colours she uses are the perfect cornish colours. Natalie makes a big range of collections from bowls, mugs, pinch pots, flower pots and jugs.
Natalie has her own pottery studio along with her online Etsy shop and then also attends lots of craft fairs. She is currently at the Made in Cornwall Christmas fair at the Truro Piazza Lemon Quay until 4th December and then will be at Lost gardens of Heligan on the 9th and 10th December.
